Santo Mariano Year

The Holy Year granted to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of O Corpiño began on 24 June 2023 and lasts until the same date next year. During all this time, the Plenary Indulgence can be obtained by all the faithful who meet the requirements proposed by the Holy Mother Church.

Opening times of the Sanctuary

  • Every working day of the year:.
    Mornings: 11:00h to 14:00h.
    Afternoons: 16:00h to 20:00h.
  • Every Saturday of the year:.
    Mornings: 11:00h to 13:30h.
    Afternoons: 16:00h to 20:00h.
  • Every Sunday of the year:.
    Mornings: 09:30h to 13:30h.
    Afternoons: 16:00h to 20:00h.

NOTE: During these hours, souvenirs and devotional objects can be purchased: rosaries, medals, bracelets, etc. If there are no people left, it will be closed after Mass.

Timetable of the Holy Mass

Weekdays: at 6pm.
Saturdays: 12 noon and 6 pm.
Sundays and public holidays: Mornings at 10am and 12pm and afternoons at 6pm.

Requirements for gaining a plenary indulgence

  1. Go on pilgrimage (at least from Carballeira) to the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de O Corpiño.
  2. Enter through the Holy Door.
  3. Go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession, with the firm desire not to sin any more.
  4. Receive Holy Communion during the celebration of the Eucharist.
  5. To recite a Creed in front of the image of Our Lady of O Corpiño, as well as to commend the Pope and pray for his intentions. We are also invited to
  6. pray for the perseverance of each one in the faith, for the increase of vocations and for the family.

Note: Although it is not necessary to do all these actions on the same day, it is advisable to do so. If this is not possible, there is a period of fifteen days before or after the day of the Shrine Visit to carry them out.
